I thought about it but I don't think I'm going to. I looked at communication theory stuff for my reading rec list and had a hard time understanding it so I don't really want to present on it.
I do feel though like maybe my presentation isn't academic enough and including some theory would help there. I'm just not sure what I'm going to do!
I am including a couple of slide regarding issues like context, and a little bit about the importance of keeping in mind the sender/receiver, message/feedback....so just incorporating some concepts and elements as a beginning to the topic. That way, I move into the topic with a little bit of foundation underneath it.
