From a TED conference, a quick talk about how people try to use their mobiles when with someone else. It's pretty funny and he makes a good point at the end. The point is, how can we have meaningful moments when we're constantly trying to record and share that moment? It under 4 minutes so if you're looking at electronic communication this might be helpful.

I'm curious, can we embed a video like this on a laptop power point that will play to our large groups, since I assume we wont have access to the podium computer? (And since I wont have a password to the PSU wifi.)
John, I think you can get a PSU wifi card for the weekend...I'm going to try at least because I'm doing my presentation on that prezi site. Perri mentioned that you have to go get it before they close at five on Friday. I'll email and ask her for specifics and cc you if you'd like.

Elibeth, thanks, please do. Prezi site? That's the one the jugglers group used, wasn't it? Will that be smoother than just a power point?
ReplyDeleteElizabeth,
ReplyDeleteCan you forward me Perri's response, please. Thank you.
I emailed Perri but haven't heard back yet. I'll forward it to everyone in the group, just in case. :) I'm hoping Prezi will be easier...it's nice to have it online and makes it easy to link to you-tube videos.
