I too, am using charades to point out non-verbal communication. As a mid-point in my power point. I'd like to end my talk with the changes in interpersonal comm through electronic means. And I'm trying to figure out how to illustrate the idea that basically people have lost the personal in the social media era. i.e. instead of knocking on someone's door to get them, we just text from the curb in our cars.
If anyone has any idea about how to illustrate that (or if that seems too far fetched) let me know.
Also, I think there's a space for the new social media electronic language in the interpersonal - OMG! ROTFLOL; but that too may be too far afield, thoughts, if any?
